The Swansea City manager watched as goals from Ashley Williams, Shefki Kuqi and Darren Pratley secured the win that kept the Swans within the top six places and in line to secure that all important play off spot.

He said after the game "We needed that result and wanted it badly but we have trained hard and are getting stronger every game.

"I am very happy with the performance and everyone showed responsibility on the pitch.

"I never felt it necessary to shut up shop once we had a two-goal lead as I am not like that.

"Nothing has changed in the race for the play-offs but I feel very comfortable with my side.

"We need to focus on our own high levels and if we have to win our last two games then so be it.

"I have only seen misses like Kuqi's on videos but I am very glad he scored a goal to make up for it."
