The Swansea City midfielder was speaking to BBC Sport in the build up to the game that will decide whether the Swans enter their post season break earlier than they would have wished to.

But Allen had not given up hope of sneaking back into the top six space that they have occupied for so much of the season.

He said "We believe there's every chance on Sunday.

"We go into every game trying to win, but it's a different feeling when nothing but a win will do.

"It's a very disappointing position to be in especially after being in the play-off positions for so much of the season.

"But we have to look at it on the positive side. Maybe the pressure will be lifted of us and placed on Blackpool and that's why we believe there's every chance on Sunday.

"We could be leapfrogging them back into that sixth position.

"We don't want it to be the final game of the season. We want to focus, no matter what happens, on the fact that we want to end on a high.

"This season has been successful and we want to give our fans, who have been great this year, a good performance and hopefully the result to match."
