The Swansea City manager will talk through the boards and his plans for next season after the 0-0 draw with Doncaster meant the current campaign ended with disappointment after missing out by a solitary point on a play off position.

Speaking after the game, Sousa told the Evening Post "Next week I will go to chat with the board to treat my future here

"We will think about next season — I will treat about these things together with the board.

"I have two years on my contract. For that I will be with the board looking to next season.

"Next week I will stay with the board regarding the future of Swansea. I'm prepared for that.

"I have been waiting for around one month to know what we can have to organise ourselves better for next season.

"The main thing is finances to develop our squad."

Sousa was pressed on the last point and how important finances were to his plans for next season and he responded "I don't care about the finances

"At this moment I care only about talking about what is best for Swansea next season.

"At the moment I can't tell you about players coming in or coming out, first I need to work with the board."
