After much criticism from fans last season Swansea City are returning to tradition and have launched an all white home kit and all black away kit – both of which will be available from Wednesday in the club shop, Debenhams and online.

And in an interview with the official site, Monk said "It looks and feels good

"I know the players will like it. It's plain and simple, yet classy.''

While Tate – who became a father for the first time on Tuesday added "All the fans I've spoken to have been saying we should go back to an all-white kit

"So I'm sure they'll be pleased with this one.

"The only problem is, me and Garry will have to go and get a tan now to look good in it!''
