As speculation mounts, it looks as if Swansea City could well be about to embark on yet another manager hunt with Paulo taking the move to the East Midlands and last season's beaten play off semi finalists Leicester City.

Sousa was immediately installed as favourite to take over from Nigel Pearson who departed for Hull last week and since then it has been an almost endless trail that has suggested that he was the first – and maybe even only – target for Leicester Chairman Milan Mandaric – a personal friend of Paulo.

Sousa was appointed last summer following an acrimonious departure of Roberto Martinez to Wigan.   His own departure – if the news reports are to be believed – would leave Huw Jenkins looking for his third manager in a little over twelve months with Exeter manager Paul Tisdale high up on the priority list according to press speculation of a month or so back.

It has also been reported that Leicester will hold a press conference on Monday presumably to unveil a new manager although official word has yet to be heard from The Walkers Stadium of the name of that manager.
