The Swansea City man will line up against his former team mate at Elland Road on Saturday and insists that he will win the battle of speed – joking that Fede will have to keep up with him
"Who is the quickest? I've been asked that a lot," Dyer told the Evening Post.
"He is fast, I'll tell you that. He likes to bomb forward and I'll have to track him if we both play because he is dangerous down the flank.
"You'll see tomorrow who the quickest is — he'll have to keep up with me!
he other day he sent me a text saying he was coming after me," said Dyer.
"I replied: 'You'll have a lot of problems to deal with'.
"I'll have to do well now I've sent the text, but I know it will be hard against him.
"I was up against him a lot in training when he was here. I saw how hard he works in order to improve himself.
"I think he has the attributes to play in the Premier League. He's strong, quick, a good footballer and athlete."
