The Swansea City Chairman told the Evening Post “There is no doubt Kemy has got a good pedigree,” said Jenkins. “He impressed during pre-season and it was unfortunate he picked up an injury.
“But he is building his fitness up and he will be an exciting signing for us if everything goes as planned.
“Birmingham realised his potential and Brendan has heard a lot of positive things about him.
“His potential, along with the quality we have in the squad, means it is an exciting time for this club.
“Kemy has settled well here and gets on well with the players.
“That’s important for a player โ to know he can ease into a new environment and express himself fully.
“Kemy is the sort of player we want at Swansea โ talented, hungry to improve himself and the club,” he said. “He can help take the club forward.”
