With the season now in it’s second quarter, Rodgers is a happy man as he sees his side in the promotion mix and occupying a play off position.
It was a play off position that was held for most of the season only for the Swans to miss out at the very end to Blackpool but this time around Rodgers believes that the Swans can maintain their position although he accepts – as with anyone – that a small amount of luck may be needed.
Speaking to the Western Mail, Brendan said โWeโve been very, very good up until now โ itโs just the type of game we have to get used to
โTuesday was a point against a very good side and keeps a clean sheet here as well โ weโve only conceded one goal in all competitions here, which is a terrific record.
โWeโve shown over the course of 12 games that we can be up there, itโs just keeping that mental pace and that ambition and if we have a wee bit of luck and steer clear of injuries then I think we can be there or thereabouts along with QPR.
โThe position weโre in at the moment is excellent.
โWe want to grow and keep performing and moving up the table, but weโre happy.โ
