Planet Swans ArchivesRangel has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the club in the last 18 months with Roberto Martinez and his relegation threatened Wigan side at the forefront of the queue supposedly to sign him but now it looks like it may be an extended stay in South Wales that is on the cards for Rangel.
“Everybody knows I’m in the last year of my contract and I have started having talks with the manager a few weeks ago,” he told the Western Mail
“But it’s still ongoing and we haven’t spoken again, hopefully we can do again soon and sort it out.”
The paper also reports that Shefki Kuqi, Cedric Van Der Gun, Jordi Lopez and Darren Pratley will all be allowed to leave the Swans in January with the right deal.
