“He’s Welsh, young and energetic, and I think he is going to do a decent job.
“I’m looking forward to meeting him, but I’m just concentrating on playing well week-in, week-out for Swansea and hopefully that will take care of my international career.
“As soon as I heard Swansea were interested in me there was only one club I wanted to play for,” he added.
“It was a no-brainer of a decision. I was looking to play at a higher standard, and the style of football that Swansea play suits me down to the ground. I wanted to develop into the best player possible, and I believe I can do that here.”
