Chairman Hints At More Signings

The Swansea City Chairman is poised to complete a return for Leon Britton having already sealed a deal to bring Luke Moore to the Liberty since the transfer window opened.

But with Brendan Rodgers still keen to add to his squad, Jenkins insists that there is opportunity for him to do so especially as some higher earners are leaving the club.ย  He also suggested that Darren Pratley would be kept at the club until the summer.

He told the Evening Post “It has never been in our thoughts to sell anyone who is playing on a regular basis

“If we can, we are looking to bring a couple of players in to make sure we can cope with the difficult months ahead.

“We have the rest of the January window and then the loan window which runs until March 26, so there is ample opportunity for Brendan to strengthen as he sees fit.

“If there is a deal that he wants to do, we will do our best to make sure it happens.”
