The Swansea City midfielder has been linked with Newcastle and Wigan in the past and now Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United have entered the fray with press reports in Lancashire suggesting that Bolton are close to the signature.
Today’s Western Mail though reports that only West Ham have made a bid for the player who is out of contract this summer but currently in amongst the goals as the Swans look to push on to the Premier League themselves.
Yesterday’s reports in Lancashire read “TalkSPORT claims Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is hoping to sign Pratley in the current transfer window and that, as a result, contract talks have been put on hold.
TalkSPORT says the official line from Swansea is that the contract talks have been postponed as the club are trying to focus on their promotion push, but it is understood that Pratley is unlikely to be playing at the Liberty Stadium come the second half of the season.
It is believed instead that the 25-year-old is set to join Wanderers.”
The Western Mail though reports that Pratley may have reiterated his desire to see out his contract and weigh up his options in the summer.
Time will tell.
