The Swansea City man is reported to be being dropped back to the bench against Derby County tomorrow despite scoring in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Watford at the Liberty.
Dobbie has been in good form recently but unable to command a regular starting spot in the side but he respects the decisions of the manager in terms of team selection.
“I’d like to play every game, but you look at the bench against Watford and we had Darren Pratley and Leon Britton who could play in most teams in this league" he told the Western Mail.
“If I’m not playing then I have to take that on the chin and see what part I can play against Derby.
“It’s not as though there’s another player going into my position, it’s because he’s changing the team.
“You want to go out and play, but if the manager has a plan then you have to put your faith in him.
“It’s more important that the team is winning and getting to where we want to be, but I hope to get a few more goals to help out.”
