Borini joined Swansea City from Chelsea last week and immediately promised goals. He delivered on that promise immediately against Nottingham Forest with two goals in an impressive debut that could have easily yielded another one or two goals.
And speaking to the official website after the game he said "I kept my word
"I'm very proud of the win, not for my own performance, but for the team.
"My goals and performance come afterwards. The most important thing was that the team picked up the three points to keep us in the play-offs and pushing for the top two.
"I liked the atmosphere of the crowd today and the way the team played.
"The lads have taken to me very quickly,'' he added. "I didn't know what to expect when I arrived because it's the first time I've been out on loan.
"But the way the players welcomed me in really impressed me."
