The Swansea CIty midfielder has reportedly been watched by Black Cat scouts according to sports.co.uk who report

"Swansea's highly-rated midfielder Joe Allen is being linked with a move to Sunderland as Steve Bruce looks to strengthen his squad.

"The men from South Wales have no desire to sell any of their players but, if they fail in their bid to win promotion to the Premier League, they may find it difficult to keep hold of star men, especially if Premier League clubs come calling.

"Bruce has reportedly had scouts watching Allen in action for the Swans this season, and again this weekend as they went down 2-1 at Preston. And the Black Cats are set to move in the summer if the Swans fail to gain "
