The Swansea City manager told the Evening Post "Mathematically it is still open for both the top positions, but you'd have to say that QPR are looking good now
"They have looked good most of the season — they have spent money really well and they have a good squad.
"They are hard to beat and they have a little sprinkling of stardust in players like Adel Taarabt and Tommy Smith.
"They are players who can make a difference.
"They looked strong and organised against Sheffield United and it's going to be difficult to catch them," Rodgers added.
"You never say never and we will keep up the fight.
"But they are only going to need a few more wins, and the games are running out for everyone else.
"They have been consistent for a lot of the season and they are going to be hard to stop now.
"But really, what we have to focus on is ourselves.
"We have to concentrate on getting back on the bike when we play Norwich this weekend."
