The Swansea City manager was disappointed to see his side take the lead and then be pegged back to lose ground in the all important race for a place in the Premier League.
Brendan said in his after match press conference "It's very disappointing
"We worked so hard to get in front and some of our play was outstanding.
"But after we got the goal we deserved, we then threw it away with a very poor goal from our throw in.
"We put ourselves in a great position, but ended up drawing a game I felt we deserved to win.
"Now we've got to dust ourselves down and go again. Yes we've slipped up, but we can't cry about it.
"There are still plenty of twists and turns to come and it means we will have to pick up a win somewhere else
"It was a wonderful strike to get us in front,'' he added. "He's obvious gained confidence from his first goal against Norwich on Saturday. But I've always known he has that in his locker.''
