The Swansea City manager was speaking after goals from Darren Pratley and Stephen Dobbie gave them victory at Millwall to keep alive their slim automatic promotion hopes.
Rodgers told the club's official web site "I thought we were outstanding
"It was an accomplished performance, the complete away performance if you like.
"The Den is an uncompromising place to come to, especially when you've got the pressure of Millwall having to win to keep their play-off hopes alive.
"It was a cauldron at times, but I thought we were superb and we are full of confidence at the moment.
"A lot has been made of our away results, but we haven't played badly and the only disappointing thing is that we haven't always come away with the points we deserved.
"I was speaking to one or two of the Millwall staff and they said we were the best team they've seen down here this season – and that's nice to hear.
"But that's the way we always play. The players have bought into the philosophy of how we want to play and I don't expect that to change. We don't know any other way."
