The Swansea City striker will line up against Reading on Monday whaving joined the club earlier in the season on loan from Chelsea.

And there had been hopes that victory – and the subsequent promotion – would give the Swans a real chance of keeping him on loan on a permanent basis.

But those hopes have been hit by claims from Parma that they have secured a deal for Borini with Ghirardi saying "Borini is already ours"

No deal has been confirmed officially by Chelsea.
