Dobbie will play his second final in as many years when he lines up for Swansea City against Reading on Monday.
Dobbie featured for Blackpool against Cardiff City last season when on loan having been let go by Paulo Sousa.
And he now wants to experience the taste of back to back victories as he explained to the Western Mail “There are no nerves at all at the moment, just excitement
“Last year there were nerves because Blackpool were tipped for relegation and not promotion.
“Then we went on an amazing run and managed to squeeze through to Wembley.
“I remember the days leading up to the game were phenomenal because the town was full of people wearing orange and wishing you luck.
“On the day the boys were pretty chilled out on the journey to the stadium, we were just relaxing playing poker. Then you get to Wembley and have that special feeling.
“The day itself was pretty fantastic. I went on for 30 minutes and I was tired at the end of it.
“But that’s the release of the build-up to the game, the emotion and the fact that £90m is at stake means it takes it out of you.
“There are big similarities in team spirit – the group is tight and it was the same at Blackpool.
“The new gaffer came in here last summer and we’re in the same position as Blackpool were.
“Having had a full season at the club, I understand what it means to the boys here.
“Bringing the likes of Manchester United down to the Liberty would change the lives of the players, the fans and the city.
“But Reading won 3-0 on Cardiff’s patch, so there are no favourites.
“Shane Long and Noel Hunt have been very good for them, so hopefully our defence will be strong for one more game.
“If we play the way we have done all season then hopefully that will be good enough for a positive result.
“I was walking through town the other day and there was a guy in the shopping centre trying to sell me a Swans flag,” he laughs.
“Just walking around the city you get people wishing you the best and telling you what they’ve gone through just to get a ticket.
“We understand that paying for tickets and the cost of travelling is expensive for fans, but we really appreciate the fact we’ll have over 40,000 fans at Wembley.”
