The Swansea City defender missed the play off final because of suspension after a red card in the first minute of the first leg against Nottingham Forest.
But despite missing from the showpiece occasion rumours are circulating in the media that there is a £1m buy out clause in his contract and that this has alerted Newcastle who plan to make a move for the highly rated left back.
No comment has been issued from the Swans (or inded Newcastle) over the matter but we watch the space with interest.
