The Evening Post reports that Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers is lining up a move for Senna as he looks to bolster his squad for their Premier League challenge.

Senna is out of contract at Villareal but has been offered a new deal by the side that he played 26 times for last season.

Senna joined the Spanish club in 2002 and has helped them to a Champioon League semi final during his time there.   He was also part of the Spanish Euro 2008 winning side where he was voted into the team of the tournament.

Senna is rumoured to be interested in ending his career in the Premier League and Rodgers believes that he will fit perfectly into the Swans midfield.

The paper also reports that Mouhammadou Dabo has also been linked with Swansea – the Sevilla full back also is a reported target of Aston Villa.
