Michel Vorm revealed that watching Ben Watson’s penalty against Norwich helped him to save his effort yesterday at the Liberty
Vorm’s second half save helped earn the Swans their first Premier League point and Vorm revealed after the game that he had watched Watson’s penalty last week in their season opener at the DW Stadium
“Yes, I watched it.” he said
“Last week also the goalkeeper went to the same corner and he shot it very well
“The only thing for me was trying to concentrate and go at the right moment to the corner.
“He shot it low so I could get my hand to it. It was a good save I think.
“If you don’t score [then] the possession don’t count,” said the five time capped Netherlands keeper.
“In the first half and beginning of the second half we had some good chances. If we’d have scored we would have won this game.
“Next week is another game and another chance to win
“Last season they also played good matches,” Vorm added.
“In the first week when I came here I was very impressed how they play and how they train.
“I think if we play like this the whole season through we’re going to get points.”
