Angel Rangel may have only played two Premier League games but already he knows the difference between the league and the Championship
Rangel was happy with the Swans point and clean sheet in the 0-0 draw with Wigan and he was also very praisin of the new man behind him in Michel Vorm who produced another top quality display in the Swansea goal.
“You have to be focused in every single second of the game because of the tempo,” Rangel said.
“It’s quicker and more physical, but our style of play means we are adapting well and every game you will see us improving.
“We need to make the Liberty a fortress. Unfortunately on Saturday we didn’t get the three points, but if we keep playing like that we will take points.
“After Manchester it was important to keep a clean sheet.
“I’m happy with that and all in all, it was a great performance.”
And on the signing and performance of Vorm he added “They are different goalkeepers,” when questioned on the similarities between Vorm and Dorus De Vries
“Dorus had his skills and Michel has got his.
“Their distribution is quite similar, maybe Michel is quicker than Dorus, but at the same time I think Dorus was a bit bigger.
“They are both great keepers so you can’t really compare. They are both Premier League goalkeepers for me and in his case, Michel is proving it.”
