Brendan Rodgers remains confident that the goals are in his side after a third successive blank
Rodgers said after the goalless draw with Sunderland at the Liberty “We have not scored but we are not a team that does not look like scoring.
“I thought that we were absolutely terrific apart from that final touch in front of goal.
“You could see from our changes in the game that we were not going to sit on the 0-0, we adapt and make sure all our goalscorers are on the field.
“We are doing everything we can it and it is just that little bit of luck.
“Once the first one goes in the confidence will shoot up. That release of getting the first goal will move us on even further.
“Danny hasn’t scored but you can see it is only a matter of time.
“His intensity and workrate are excellent.
“He will be disappointed that he did not score but he does a lot more for the team than just that. He is not just a striker who gets goals and nothing else.
“I think he does look like scoring, he just hasn’t scored yet.”
