Ashley Williams says the Swans are setting their sights on a big October
The Swansea City and Wales defender though accepts that it will not be easy with home games against Stoke and Bolton either side of trips to Norwich and Wolves their fixtures for the month.
He told the Evening Postย “Stoke are a good team and it will be very difficult. They are a different type of team and that’s the beauty of the Premier League
“You go from one style to the next. But it’s a home game and we want to win. We won’t be disrespectful to any of the teams coming up but the two home games in October are ones we want to get wins from. We need to start picking up three points.
“We have to work hard and try to pick up as many points as possible.”
Williams also dismissed talk of any rift with Angel Rangel caused by Chelsea’s fourth goal on Saturday when he addedย “That’s football. We always say things in the heat of the moment.
“It was more of a discussion than an argument. It’s not a problem.
“We were very frustrated and disappointed to concede four goals.
“We take great pride in keeping clean sheets and our defensive performance.
“We could have stopped all four goals. It wasn’t as if Chelsea scored unbelievable screamers.
