Ashley Williams insists that the Swans feet are firmly on the ground after their weekend performance at Anfield
Praised was laid heavily on the Swans after the way they took the game to their more illustrious opponents on Saturday and left with a more than credible point for their efforts.
But Williams insists that is not going to their heads as they head off into a two week international break that will end with the visit of Man Utd to the Liberty on 19 November.
Williams saidย โWe try to keep the highs and lows of winning and losing as close as we can, so we donโt get too over the top with a performance
โWe were happy after Liverpool but we werenโt going over the top.
โYes, we got a point but we are in the same league as them now.
โWe said well done, we got the point, we are happy but we move on.
โWe will look ahead to Manchester United and try and get something from that.
The gaffer said the week before the Liverpool game we are Premier League players now and we have to believe it.
โForget where weโve all come from, the lower leagues and all that, we are here now and we deserve to be here.
โSome of the stats coming out of the games show we are good players at this level.
โIf we can get a draw at Liverpool we can get points on the road anywhere and itโs always important to have a good performance before the international break.
โWe were happy with how things went against Liverpool because they have got a lot of quality
โI had played against Andy Carroll before and heโs improved since his time at Newcastle.
โLuis Suarez is a player with a lot of quality and we were very proud of the clean sheet.
โThe gafferโs reinforcing all the time how well we are doing so we feel full of confidence.โ
