Neil Taylor believes that the Swans can get a result against Arsenal as they prepare to welcome the Gunners to the Liberty
Arsenal are the latest side to try and break down a Liberty fortress that has seen just Manchester United come so far this season and depart with maximum points.
Last time out it was Arsenal’s North London rivals that were denied victory at the Liberty and now Taylor believes the Swans need to turn some of their excellent form into victories over the big four.
He told the Western Mailย โItโs about time we won a game against one of the top teams
โWeโre full of confidence and weโll see how it goes.
โI donโt see why we canโt get a result.
โWhen we played them at the Emirates we definitely should have got a result against them.
โIt was a freak goal we lost to on the day but we can give them a tough game if we play as well as we can do at home.
โOnly Manchester United have come here and won this season and even they had a tough afternoon.”
Ironically, Taylor was linked with a move to Arsenal yesterday but he saidย โFrom what Iโve read, speculation is all it is
โI havenโt seen anything else, so itโs just one of them where I get on with my football.
โIโm enjoying my football here and I think itโs going great.
โEvery player should be getting watched at the moment because weโre a young outfit and weโre doing really well.
โWe play some exciting stuff and a lot of people are talking about us, which we want to just keep doing.
โWeโre a hard-working bunch and, as long as we stay together and keep going, weโll be successful as a team.
โGylfi looks a really good player. You donโt move for ยฃ7m if youโre a bad player.
โHe looks like heโs got a good touch and he can play in the hole, so he should fit in really well into our team.
โIt should keep players on their toes. No playerโs place in the Premier League is secure, so we have to work as hard as we can for the gaffer and make it impossible for him not to pick us.
โCompetition for places is only good.โ
