The Swans reportedly reached a deal to bring the youngster to the club earlier in the week now face the frustration that he will not be here for the weekend clash although Brendan remains patient in waiting for the player.
“From what I understand Josh will stay at Chelsea this weekend so if there’s movement on that one it will be next week,” said the Swansea boss.
“As much as we would like to have Josh with us, we have to respect that he is a Chelsea player.
“We have an agreement in place, but they have to make sure they let him out at the right time. They have one or two injuries so we are waiting to hear when he will be released to join us.”
