Brendan Rodgers says the Swans erratic away form is down to consistency in defending
Rodgers told the Western Mail: “It’s not frustrating, but it does make me more determined to get consistency. We’ve demonstrated enough times this season, we’ve gone to different to different places away from home and picked up really good results so it’s nothing to do with physicality, getting bullied or others things that are being mentioned.
“It is about consistency in our defending and at times we have not done that, it’s as simple as that. We have players whose natural instinct is to go forward, away from home we try and adapt the game and at times it’s worked well, but last weekend we conceded two really soft goals.
“We have to be more consistent, but I am not going to get too hung up on losing two games because the most important thing is that we are picking up points.”
