Reports in Holland are suggesting that QPR have made a move to sign Michael Vorm from Swansea
Vorm was Swansea’s player of the year last season after an impressive season of performances where he gained many plaudits and is currently in Poland and Ukraine with the Dutch squad in Euro 2012.
This week’s Wales on Sunday reports that Vorm is supposed to be unimpressed with the offer from a side who only escaped relegation because of Bolton’s inability to win on the last day of the season.
QPR spent millions last season to break up their Championship winning squad of the season before but the team generally failed to gel and a change in management at the start of the year also would not have helped their cause. Since the season ended they have also been linked with moves for Ben Foster and Robert Green amongst others but it seems unlikely that the Swans would consider cashing in on one of their prize assets.
There is a 30% sell on clause in Vorm’s contract to his former club Utrecht.
