Neil Taylor is likely to miss the rest of the season after suffering his ankle injury in yesterday’s 2-2 draw with Sunderland
Taylor was stretchered off after 20 minutes of the game and was taken to Morriston Hospital immediately with manager Michael Laudrup confirming after the game that he had siffered a broken ankle.
However, any hopes of a swift(ish) return for Taylor was ended today with the news confirmed this afternoon on the official website
“The surgeons worked hard on Neil’s injury last night and did a very good job,’’ explained Swansea’s head physio Kate Rees. “He is comfortable and the surgeons are happy with the operation.
“While he should make a full recovery, the extent of the injury means Neil is likely to miss the rest of the season.’’
Best wishes Neil from all at Planet Swans
