It represents probably the toughest test the Swans could have had in a game that will almost certainly be switched for live television coverage.
The following week they will open their home campaign with Newcastle at the Liberty before a trip to Sunderland and a home tie with Manchester United finish what looks on paper to be a tough first month to the new campaign.
New boys Bournemouth are visitors to the Liberty Stadium on 21st November with the return trip on 12th March whilst the other promoted sides are pitted against the Swans on the following dates: –
Watford – 12th Sept (A) 16th Jan (H)
Norwich – 7th November (A) 5th March (H)
The season will end at home to Manchester City – the same opponents as our last home game last season
Our last three home games are Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City which look on paper to be as tough as they could probably get
Boxing Day we are at home to West Brom and we travel to Manchester United on 2nd January to start our 2016 calendar
