I am not sure of the validity of the Swans reported interest as a midfield playmaker here would be competing with both Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jonjo Shelvey and it is difficult to imagine that he would get into our side ahead of either one of those two?
Jota was the Bees’ record signing last summer and the club would be looking for a fee in excess of £5millon for the Spaniard, who has one of the best left foots in the Championship.
Jota is the second midfielder that the Swans have been linked with today and whilst I would say this one is a possibility it has to be said that a move to Leicester on the face of it would be more likely than to us.
Derby and Premier League newcomers Bournemouth are also reported to be interested
