This week’s announcement will hopefully be one that other clubs will follow but it is not just the fans who are backing the gesture as a brilliant one, it has been noticed by former players as well.
Mario Melchiot made over 400 club appearances in his career as well as winning over 20 caps for Holland and he took the time to take to his Twitter account to praise the Swans for their work in announcing this gesture
Swansea will be subsidising all away games next season so fans won't have to pay more than £22 for a ticket. Amazing gesture #mmlove
