Everton are above the Swans though only on goal difference ahead of the game and the Swans will be looking to bounce back from the defeat against Watford last week that was by far their weakest performance of the season.
A win for either side will probably lift them into the top four at the end of the day but Everton boss knows exactly what awaits him at the Liberty as he comes face to face again with the main who captained his side when he was down here.
“Swansea have been outstanding so far and I think they’re going to be probably one of the toughest games we’re going to face away from home,” said Martinez.
“You could see with how they performed against Manchester United in the last game they played at the Liberty Stadium, they’re a team with an incredible ability to keep the ball; they’re very good in possession.
“They’ve got a really different way of being dangerous in front of goal and I think the new players have adapted incredibly well, which shows you the [strong] dynamics in the group and how much enjoyment that team experiences every time they go out on the football pitch.”
