Another comfortable win for Swans Ladies

Katy Hosford scored a hat-trick as Swansea City Ladies kept up their 100% start to the season with another comfortable win this afternoon as they coasted past Cascade with a 4-0 win to move top of the league.

The Ladies moved three points clear with their sixth win of the season and have now played the same number of games as Cardiff Met who next play on Thursday against Cardiff City.

Swans Line Up

Hosford opened the scoring after just five minutes when her free kick caught everyone out including Hollie Williams in the Cascade goal to give the Swans the lead.

It was a dominant first half display from the Swans who had a couple of chances to add to the lead before Adams latched onto a long ball from Chloe Chivers and she kept her composure to put the visitors 2-0 up.

And just past the half hour mark the game was over as a contest as Hosford scored the Swans third, and her second of the afternoon when she bundled in a cross from last week’s goal machine Stacey John-Davis.

The Ladies could have added more before the interval but had to settle for just the three goal advantage with the game as one sided as the scoreline suggested.

Despite creating more chances in the second half it was not until the 76th minute that the Swans added to the scoring and it was Hosford who netted for the third time in the game when broke down the unguarded flank and broke into the box to lace her shot past the despairing Williams.

It did signal the end of the scoring for the afternoon for the impressive looking Swans who now have a goal difference of 23 on top of that three point advantage at the top of the table
