By this time next week the fans will have returned to the Liberty in the second leg of the play off semi final.ย In just under two weeks time we could be at Wembley where the prize on offer is a place in the Premier League.ย There is just the small matter of Monday evening in the way first.
Steve Cooper is putting the final touches to his preparations ahead of Monday night but is most looking forward to welcoming the fans back to the Liberty next Saturday.
โWe canโt wait to get back in front of our supporters. It will be great to see them again,โ he said.
โBut we will also be thinking of the ones who couldnโt get in because of the restrictions, so it isnโt a complete return yet.
โWhether we were at home first or second leg, we hope that having our fans back can help us along the way.
โI donโt think thereโs any one way of getting through to the final, whether you play at home or away in the first or second leg.
โIt will be slightly different because a lot of the players havenโt played in front of supporters for a while.
โA lot of our fans havenโt seen some of our players live. But thatโs a positive thing. Weโve missed them, and I’m sure theyโve missed coming. Weโve got to make sure we all enjoy being back together.โ
