Michael Obafemi scored the only goal of the game with a 16th minute header from Jamie Paterson’s cross to give the Swans all three points at the Swansea.com stadium this evening.
Obafemi’s goal proved to be a rare attempt on goal in a very backs to the wall performance not helped by the 54th minute sending off of Ryan Manning for a second yellow card.

Been watching the Swans since the very late 1970s and running the Planet Swans website (in all its current and previous guises since the summer of 2001 As it stood JackArmy.net was right at the forefront of some of the activity against Tony Petty back in 2001, breaking many of the stories of the day as fans stood against the actions where the local media failed. Was involved with the Swans Supporters Trust from 2005, for the large part as Chairman before standing down in the summer of 2020.
Defended manfully, but wasteful finishing could have eased things.
Paterson is showing as star man! What a load of tripe, he was poor.
Christie, Ncham were uncharacteristically poor in the first half โฆ both looked knackered.
A lot of good work fromObafemi as well as the goal.
Manning is alway liable to give away free kicks in dangerous areas and get carded.
Fisher, not for me but it was a clean sheet,
Defence was excellent.
