Obafemi tops your Coventry City ratings

Michael Obafemi topped your ratings from the Swans weekend win over Coventry – an entirely predictable outcome given the two goals and one assist that he posted in the game.

It was arguably Obafemi’s best game in a Swans shirt, as he too the two finishes with some customary ease as well as a sublime first touch to play in Jamie Paterson for the opening goal.

The striker – signed in the summer from Southampton – struggled in the early days to settle in Swansea but Russell Martin was patient with the player and that patience is now paying dividends as he took his goal tally to five for the season with clear signs that there could be plenty more to come.

His rating from the game of 8.6 made him a clear winner ahead of Jamie Paterson (7.6) and Kyle Naughton (7.5) with the overall Swans team – as you would expect – rating highly in the game

The full player ratings looks as below

โ€œIโ€™m delighted with the result, and Iโ€™m happy to get the assist and two goals,โ€ Obafemi said via the official site yesterday.

โ€œI want to help the team as much as possible with goals and assists.

โ€œI love it here. The atmosphere when I play [at the Swansea.com Stadium] is always amazing. The fans always give me a great reception and Iโ€™m grateful for it.”
