The Swans will play newly promoted Rotherham United on the opening day of the campaign after the Football League’s fixture list was announced this morning.
This is followed by a home game against Blackburn the following week with the first game taking place on the weekend of the 30th of July.
It means there’s just over five weeks until the season kicks off with Russell Martin still in the market for further additions to the first team squad.
The two Cardiff games take place on October the 22nd (at home) and April the 1st as the Swans look to complete a “double double.”
Due to the World Cup the season will take a break during November and December for around a month and the final game of the season will be against West Brom at home.
