The Swans take on play off chasing Millwall this evening bidding to make it back to back wins following the weekend’s success at Blackpool.
With two home games this week it gives Russell Martin a great opportunity to put points on the board to propel the team up the table in the early season rankings.
Millwall will be no pushovers though after two wins in their three games this campaign including a 3-2 win against Coventry on Saturday after being 2-0 down.
Team News
Martin is expected to make few changes to the team that started at Blackpool with Ben Cabango set to keep his place ahead of Nathan Wood at the back.
Joe Allen is pushing for his first start at the expense of Jay Fulton although it would appear likely that he again features off the substitutes bench.
The one question would be whether Matty Sorinola did enough as a winger to keep his place with Olivier Ntcham’s cameo appearance proving crucial with the winning goal at Blackpool.
He could start in a front three alongside Joel Piroe and Michael Obafemi with Jamie Paterson again ruled out due to injury – he could return Saturday against Luton Town.
As for Millwall former Derby forward Mason Bennett is unavailable as is Wales striker Tom Bradshaw.
Gary Rowett has no other concerns and is likely to name new signing Vogey Voglsammer amongst the substitutes after signing the striker from Germany.
Predicted line-ups
Swansea (3-4-3):

Millwall (3-4-3):

The Managers’ comments
Swans assistant Matt Gill: “Last season we had two really competitive games against them. Theyโve started the season well with a couple of wins.
“Theyโve recruited really smartly in the summer. Theyโll be buoyed from Saturdayโs comeback victory, coming from two goals down.”
Millwall head coach Gary Rowett:ย “Weโve got two tough ones coming up. I donโt think the team can be judged until 10 away games.
“Swansea away and Norwich away are both challenging games, let alone on a Tuesday night and a Friday night, but we will certainly go to those games with a thin squad but with a little more confidence after the final 70 minutes of todayโs game [v Coventry].โ
