Swansea City are being linked with a move for West Ham United winger Armstrong Oko-Flex as reports surfaced close to the London club today.

Oko-Flex joined West Ham in 2021 and is highly regarded at the London Stadium although they do believe that he would benefit from some regular first team football.

He signed for the Hammers when his contract expired at Celtic and speaking at the time of his signature he saidย โ€œI feel very good to have signed, Itโ€™s good to sign for a big club like West Ham United.

โ€œIโ€™m very excited to get started here. There are a lot of positives around West Ham and itโ€™s just a great Club to be at right now.

โ€œI know a lot of the boys here already. I trained with some of them when I was younger, and Iโ€™ve played against some of them as well, so itโ€™s been good settling in and the coaches have welcomed me in very nicely as well.

โ€œI want to thank God first and foremost, and my family and my team around me โ€“ without them, none of this would have been possible. Iโ€™m just grateful for the opportunity.โ€

Dublin-born forward Oko-Flex began his career with local national academy St Kevinโ€™s Boys Club, moving to London as an eleven-year-old after being recommended to Arsenal by former Gunners, Hammers and Republic of Ireland midfielder Liam Brady.

The dynamic winger subsequently switched to Glasgow in the summer of 2018, being named in his first senior Celtic matchday squad as a 16-year-old before making his first-team debut in January 2021 with a 30-minute appearance against Hibernian.

The talented 20-year-old scored 15 goals in 23 games for the Hammersโ€™ youth team last season
