There looks like there may be one last transfer twist in the closing of the window as Leeds United could yet sign Swans striker Joel Piroe according to reports in Holland.

It looked to all that it would be Michael Obafemi leaving for Burnley but despite two offers from the Lancashire club it looks to be off after failing to agree a fee.

That then leaves the Swans in a difficult position and it would be no surprise if Piroe was to leave in the closing hours if indeed there is time for a deal to be completed. The fee would surely need to be similar – or more – than the £10m requested for Obafemi.

The squad is still needing additions with or without Piroe but perhaps there are other deals in place ready to activate should one of the front men depart – or perhaps that’s blind faith?

However one to watch should the Leeds story come to fruition would be Cody Drameh – the right back who was on loan at Cardiff last season that Russell Martin has shown an interest in.

Our site covered this story a few days ago and it might just be a bargaining point should Leeds United come calling sometime this evening.

Would you be happy with Piroe our, Drameh and perhaps another attacker in this evening? It’s getting late but there’s still time ..

Update – according to Ian Mitchelmore at Wales Online both Piroe and Obafemi are set to stay at the club. Although until the deadline arrives nothing can be sure
