Wales’ World Cup adventure came to a pretty disappointing close this evening as a comfortable England side outclassed Robert Page’s side to send us home with just one point from the three games we played.
Needing a win, Wales were undone by two goals from Marcus Rashford and one from Phil Foden – all in the second half – and ended the competition bottom of Group B courtesy of the sole point gained against the USA.
