It was reported yesterday that Swansea and Bristol City were both keen on a move for Luton forward Harry Cornick with the Robins supposedly ahead in the “race” for his signature.
There was no sign of any transfer being close today though with Cornick playing sixty minutes in Luton’s FA Cup tie at home to Grimsby Town this afternoon.
He was named in the starting line-up for the tie against the League Two side but did not find the net as they were held to a 2-2 draw by the Mariners.
Cornick was replaced on the hour by Hatters top scorer Carlton Morris.
