The transfer of Morgan Whittaker away from Swansea City appears to be entering its final steps after reports stated that he had agreed personal terms on a move to Rangers.
The Swans rejected a £2m approach from Rangers earlier in the day but suggestions are that both clubs are close to agreeing a deal with just the structure of it seemingly slightly apart.
Generically with transfers when it gets to that stage then it becomes just a matter of time before a fee is agreed and even more so when the player is happy with the personal terms on offer.
Pete O’Rourke at Football Insider reported that “Rangers have agreed personal terms with Morgan Whittaker” which another journalist, Fraser Fletcher on Twitter said that the “clubs are close to agreement on the fee.”
It is reasonably clear that Whittaker will be at Rangers before the closure of the window and for me, the sooner the better.
