The transfer window is open again and already the speculation is underway at the Swans with today’s link suggesting that we are keen on a move for former Tottenham academy winger Romaine Mundle.
Mundle left Tottenham in the summer for Standard Liege but has so far only played for their second team, SL16, in the second tier of Belgian Football.
The move was linked by Fabrizio Romano who suggested that a host of Championship clubs are keen on the player but Swansea were the only ones referenced.

He has featured five times though off the bench for the first team and scored two goals in four appearances for SL16.ย ย His contract with Liege runs to 2027 but there are rumours that they are having to sell in January to balance the books (Alexa show us the definition of irony).ย ย They have been placed under a transfer embargo twice recently and also sacked Carl Hoefkens as head coach.
It is too early in the window to suggest that there could be anything in this rumour but we know the club desperately need wingers, whether a new manager (whenever it may happen) agrees with that remains to be seen.
