Swansea City v Rotherham United – Your matchday pack

The Swans look for back to back wins once again this weekend when bottom of the table Rotherham arrive in SA1 in the last days of their Championship life.

The Millers are rock bottom of the table and have won just one of their seventeen league games this season and secured just six points in that particularly miserable run of form.ย  ย With just twenty-three points on the board this season they are nineteen points adrift at the bottom of the table.ย  ย It is often said that there are no easy games at this level but Rotherham at home this season should really be one that we have every confidence of winning.ย  ย Especially if we put in anywhere near the level of intensity that we showed on Wednesday evening.

A 2-1 win for the Swans in the reverse fixture in December saw both Charlie Patino and Jerry Yates score for the Swans and we have to look to do better than that tomorrow and move ourselves even further clear of the relegation places in a hope that when we look back in years to come the stats will show that we never flirted as closely with relegation as we did.

As ever, Jackharris is on board to give us the lowdown on the game and you can, of course, share your views in our matchday thread which for this game can be found here.

Hopefully we see players with the handbrake off rather than on the beach.
Rotherham have nothing to play for except for pride and for some the opportunity to put themselves in the shop window. For us relegation isn't quite over but it likely could be after this game, there are also a lot of out of contract players who will want to show they can still do a job.

Ahem, they're not called fckn flip flops any more. We kids call them fckn sliders. Agree with everything else, and finally let's start with the Ukrainian.

Just start Kuharevich in every game from now on. We're not going to learn anything we don't already know about Yates, Cullen and Lowe. Unless the club has already decided that he's going in the summer so no point (probably the likely situation).

Heโ€™s clearly not wanted at all. Iโ€™d be amazed if he gets any significant minutes, never mind start.

I would expect Cullen to start after his goalscoring performance on Wednesday.
However on Wednesday I was disappointed that Kukharevych was not given 15-20 minutes after we went 3 up.
If we find ourselves in a similar position tomorrow I hope that he is given some time in a first team match environment.
