Andy Collects His Awards |

For those early comers in the Vetch this afternoon, Andy Robinson was on hand to collect his player of the year award and goal of the season award as voted by you, the readers of jackarmy.net Making the presentation to Andy was Amy and Darran Prosser who were selected from the list of people that voted in the awards. They presented the award to Andy along with these words which were read out by Kevin Johns. "Visitors to the Swans unofficial web site www.jackarmy.net have been voting for their choices of player of the year and goal of the season. The winner in both categories were emphatic and go to someone that will surprise no-one. Just over twelve months ago, this man was playing local league football before being given a chance first by Tranmere but more latterly by the Swans. He has thrilled us all with his attitude on the pitch and chipped in with goals at the right times together with his drive to succeed. Making the award on the pitch now are Swans fans Amy and Darran Prosser who voted in the awards. Winning the goal of the season award for his goal against Preston in the FA Cup back in January and also the clear victory in the player of the year award is Swansea’s very own ANDY ROBINSON" Pictured below are Amy and Darran presenting Andy with his two awards It was quite a week for Andy after he was also presented with the official player of the year award earlier in the week – as voted for by readers of the South Wales Evening Post and also present today was Dai Smith and his sons to present the same award from readers of scfc.co.uk (pictured below) Quite an end to a first season in league football? |
